Deena Baker-Nel is the vice president of Human Resources and Communications for Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) for Avery Dennison Corporation. She was appointed to this position in August 2015.

In her role, Deena provides strategic Human Resources leadership worldwide, in addition to driving organizational effectiveness and global communications.

Before assuming her current role, Deena held a number of positions, including vice president of human resources for the Apparel Solutions and RFID areas within RBIS and the communications function. She began her career at Avery Dennison in 2006 at Corporate as director of global mobility before serving as HR director for the Avery Dennison finance and legal organizations. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Deena held various human resources-related positions in the banking, legal, and consulting industries, including at UBS and Deloitte.

Deena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from West Virginia University.
