Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in the the world, synonymous with music, fashion, celebrity, and most of all, denim. This year, Lot, Stock and Barrel hosted a pop-up retail space providing festival goers with the special opportunity to customize their outfits with limited edition embellishments created by Avery Dennison RBIS.
The collection was inspired by Lot, Stock and Barrel’s infamous chain stitch designs, and created using artwork hand drawn by their team. The designs were brought to life as embroidery wovens, felt wovens and AgilityTM HD Heat Transfers. Stand out pieces included the ‘slay’ patch and the oversized ‘pick up the phone baby!’ which were increasingly popular.
Ahead of the festival, Avery Dennison RBIS hosted two exclusive customization workshops in L.A. and London. Invitation only, the events were attended by a select number of influencers and industry leaders to preview the limited edition patches and get their Coachella outfit before anyone else. The workshop attendees paired their chosen patches with a Levi’s trucker jacket sourced by Lot, Stock and Barrel.
Trending at Coachella
Festival denim is in it’s element at Coachella and this year was no exception. The Lot, Stock and Barrel retail space became a customization hotspot over the two weekends with a multitude of festival goers using the heat applied patches and heat transfers to create their own bespoke festival denim, from jackets, to shorts, trousers, bandanas and more.
