Our products are everywhere. It’s exciting to see how we keep making products and growing our reach.

Why Avery Dennison RBIS:
During my interview assessment, I could feel the sense of community. I’ve had internships at companies big and small, but I liked the culture of the smaller ones. With the size of Avery Dennison, I was nervous, but I could tell even with their size as a corporation, there was still the community of a small company. All of the leadership was present at the assessment, even though we were only candidates for the position.

What success looks like to me:
Success is finding where I belong, where I’m able to do my best work. Some people are better at leading and managing people, others find ways to lead and inspire others without the formal objective of doing so. Finding where you can own what you do is the most important. It's not about title, it's what you bring to the company.

Advice for future graduates who want to work in this industry:
Be flexible and agile. This business changes so rapidly. Every few months we have new seasons, new products, etc. Be ready to learn and be adaptable. You definitely won’t get bored because things are changing all the time.

My path to RBIS:
I am originally from Venezuela and earned my degree in architectural engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Several of my school friends went through the GOLD program and had amazing experiences. While talking to Avery Dennison at a career fair, I met employees from the company and formed relationship with them and that led me to where I am now.

How I live the RBIS core values:
It's important to empower others. We work with people all over the world in different departments and we must collaborate across language and cultural boundaries.

Best career advice I’ve received:
My mom always told me, no matter what you do in life, do your best.
