Supplier Standards

The Avery Dennison Supplier Standards describe the minimum working conditions and employment standards with which our Suppliers are required to comply. Only Avery Dennison may modify or change these requirements and conditions in connection with a particular situation faced by a Supplier. These Supplier Standards underscore our commitment to operating with integrity in our business activities, meeting the requirements of our customers, complying with government laws and regulations, providing employees with a safe and healthy working environment, treating employees with dignity and respect, and to protecting and preserving the environment.

Restricted Substances List (AD RSL)

The Avery Dennison Restricted Substance List (AD RSL) is a practical tool to assist our Suppliers in avoiding and controlling materials that may represent hazards to the health of users or to the environment, in addition to those which may have been banned by governmental agencies, that may influence end-of-life properties, or that may cause other concerns.
The RSL will be updated as required and published here. It is the responsibility of the Supplier to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and check for this RSL as it changes regularly. Where the relevant laws and RSL conflict, the higher standard shall prevail. The failure of Avery Dennison to post an updated RSL shall not relieve the Supplier from meeting the current obligations.
