Fashion Makes Change

The Fashion Makes Change program is a triple-impact initiative that engages customers and brands to take climate action and support livelihoods of women in the supply chain. Launching on March 8, 2021, in honor of International Women’s Day, the consumer-facing aspect demonstrates the industry’s commitment to sustainability, engaging customers to round up their purchase at checkout, to support people and the planet.

Funds collected will support The Empower@Work Collaborative, which has developed the new Worker Training Toolkit for Women’s Empowerment, a gold-standard, harmonized curriculum for the apparel industry that provides education and development for women in health, financial literacy, agency, and other critical areas.

Avery Dennison is a founding sponsor of Fashion Makes Change supporting the launch of the initiative and collaborating to drive its development.
