A Different View

In the spirit of embracing digital-first tools, Sourcing Journal’s denim channel, Rivet, recently launched a digital look book focused on F/W 21-22 fabrics, trims, new sustainability concepts and innovations. 

We were happy to contribute to this fantastic resource, bringing a one-stop-shop for denim brands to view a season’s worth of collections. 

Technology and sustainability are merging to create new opportunities in the trims category. The look book features our partnership with The R Collective, a Hong Kong-based brand using deadstock to create beautiful womenswear collections. The brand recently introduced their Denim Reimagined collection supported by Levi’s®, featuring labels by Avery Dennison. One highlight is the care label which features a QR code that connects to a 4-scan experience. Each time the user scans the QR code on the care label, they are directed to one of 4 discoveries from conscious wash care to the supply chain journey to information about the brand. Items in the collection also showcase branding materials such as dissolvable paper, vegan leather alternatives and recycled yarns for woven labels. 

In addition to these projects, we highlight the three main objectives of our 2025 sustainability goals: To advance the circular economy, reduce environmental impact, and be a force for good. From innovating with our customers to how we manage our supply chain to giving back to communities, these goals are embedded in our values as a business.
